We invite you to worship God with us by joining us in Singing Praise to our Savior, Hearing God’s Word for Us through our Pastor, and Giving Back to Him to Support the Ministries of Crossroads Church.

This is my 28th(!) Father’s Day sermon as a Lead Pastor. I’ve preached all types of those sermons, and through the years we’ve studied Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, King David and, of course, Joseph, Jesus’ earthly father.
I’ve encouraged and challenged and preached to many fathers and grandfathers (and their kids and grandkids) on their Big Day every year. I’ve covered – many times – the following Biblical responsibilities for Dads: Live for Jesus; Raise your kids – and grandkids – in church; Pray with your kids and teach them the Scriptures; Lead them to Christ; Be strong, committed men of God at home, work, and in the community; Love and honor your wives; Grow in the Lord and in His Word; Hold your children to a high standard – and don’t be afraid to discipline them; Love and laugh with your children; and determine to raise children who will do Great Things for the Lord as young people – and adults!
In this Companion Sermon to last month’s Mother’s Day Sermon, let’s look at a subject I’ve never taught on Father’s Day before: DADS AT CHURCH! (It’s not what you think.)
