We invite you to worship God with us by joining us in Singing Praise to our Savior, Hearing God’s Word for Us through our Pastor, and Giving Back to Him to Support the Ministries of Crossroads Church.

March has long been described as ‘in like a lion, out like a lamb’ due to the weather instability at the beginning of the month, and the relative calm on spring’s appearance at the end. The final weeks of Jesus’ life were the exact opposite. Join the Crossroads Family for a very special series titled, IN LIKE A LAMB, OUT LIKE A LION! and rediscover the Precious Lamb of God Who is also the Lion of Judah.

We’ve all grown up with lions. Some of our earliest childhood memories involve “Androcles and the Lion” and “The Lion and The Mouse” (Aesop’s Fables). There was The Cowardly Lion in “The Wizard of Oz” (“I’ll fight you with one paw tied behind my back…I’ll fight you standing on one foot…I’ll fight you with my eyes closed!”). There is ASLAN the King in C. S. Lewis’ “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.” Finally, there is Disney’s “The Lion King” featuring ‘Simba’.
Did you know that lions are mentioned more than 100 times in the Bible? Were you aware that both Samson and David killed lions? And, of course, God delivered and protected Daniel overnight in the lions den.
During the first three messages in this Series, we’ve really looked at Jesus as The Precious Lamb of God! He is The Passover Lamb. He is The Good Shepherd. And, He alone can rescue and save The Lost Sheep. Praise His Name!
It’s time now to concentrate on Jesus as LION. (This may not sound PC for today’s world, but the Scriptures clearly use the lion’s attributes to describe God’s character – and actions.) Jesus Christ IS(!) “The Lion of the Tribe of Judah”…Praise His Name! (Rev. 5:5)
